Biografía: 

Cirujano Dentista, Universidad de Chile, Chile, 1969. Licenciado en Ciencias Odontológicas, Universidad de Chile, 1969. Postdoctoral Fellow, Neurobiology and Anesthesiology Branch, NIDR-National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, MD, USA, 1983-1984.
